SIMA Impact Foundation's Work in Action
As a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity supported by SIMA Funds LLC, we are committed to improving the lives of low-income individuals at the base of the pyramid. We harness the power of impact-driven capital to expand opportunity, strengthen underserved communities, and build pathways toward long-term social and economic resilience. Rooted in compassion and guided by innovation, our work focuses on empowering marginalized populations, addressing systemic gaps, and contributing to a more inclusive and equitable global economy.
Past Project

Scholarship Program
We launched a Scholarship Program to cultivate the next generation of impact investing leaders from bottom-of-the-pyramid markets. Through this initiative, we provided full tuition support to 14 high-potential, low-income students across three business schools in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia—regions where the impact investing ecosystem remains underdeveloped. By removing financial barriers and expanding access to quality education, the program equipped emerging leaders with the knowledge, exposure, and professional networks needed to drive sustainable change in their communities and beyond.

Kitchen Table Gathering
SIMA Impact Foundation supported industry-building efforts such as working with SIMA LLC to convene the ‘Kitchen Table Gathering’ in Den Hague, Netherlands, bringing together key public and private sector stakeholders in the off-grid solar industry for critical and collaborative discussions. This event aimed to unlock the off-grid solar sector's potential to reach lower-income populations and served as a platform for dialogue and forge solutions for the sector’s growth. The gathering underscored our dedication to catalyzing social and environmental change through collective action.
