Rocio Cavazos
Rocío Cavazos is Vice President, Global Impact, Africa and Latin America at Water.org, where she leads the development and execution of the organization’s strategy and impact across both regions. In this role, she oversees and scales business partnerships that expand access to financing for safe water and sanitation, helping financial institutions and local partners reach more households and communities with sustainable solutions.
A finance and impact investing professional with more than 20 years of experience, Rocío has held leadership and investment roles at Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase, ProMujer, and Women’s World Banking. She has worked on microfinance, inclusive finance, and social enterprise initiatives in more than 30 countries, combining capital markets expertise with on-the-ground development experience. She is also the founder and president of the Association of Vegan Entrepreneurs of Mexico and is deeply committed to entrepreneurship, sustainability, community building, and empowering women and girls through access to safe water.
