The scholarship has provided financial aid regarding acquiring my degree and has enabled me to obtain education at Makerere University which I couldn’t afford and access due to limited financial support.
What’s your view on impact investing so far and have you developed an interest in impact investing?
My view on impact investing is that it puts money behind companies and institutions for example universities to generate a positive environment and good social outcomes.
Yes, I developed an interest in impact investing because it’s an ethical finance that is frequently justified based on its measurable outcomes.
How has this scholarship shaped you toward making a social contribution/impact on your community?
The scholarship has shaped me into a hardworking person and allowed me to be more selective in how I spend my free time has helped me acquire skills and knowledge that I can use to renew and refresh the current state of our community through leadership and innovative skills.
What impact would you like to make in your community?
I would like to impact my community by introducing innovative ideas, services, and products plus promoting gender equity. Education reduces poverty by providing knowledge and skills that enable students to earn money increase productivity and participate in the labor force and entrepreneurship which has a positive impact on society.
