How has the scholarship program benefited you?
The SIMA Funds scholarship program has benefited me in that; I have been in the position to attain further studies at a higher level (brought me from grass to Grace) and has exposed me to various opportunities and even gave me the idea of impact investment.
What’s your view on impact investing so far and have you developed an interest in impact investing?
Impact investing to me is very vital and we ought to have it in us. I appreciate it so much and am even very interested in it. For instance, the SIMA Funds scholarship program truly has invested a lot in many less privileged souls, which is already a positive impact on me as well as the society at large. The fact that you are educating me means that you’re educating the whole nation and the world at large which is a very great achievement as far as impact investing is concerned.
How has this scholarship shaped you toward making a social contribution/impact on your community?
The SIMA Funds scholarship program has shaped me in that; it has put me in a position to know that we are made by people around us. And above all, it has planted in me the give-back attitude or spirit (As it says; Do to me what you want to be done to you) for the good of our society at large.
What impact would you like to make in your community?
The fact that the scholarship already has made a positive impact on my life, I truly promise to give back to my community wholeheartedly especially to the less privileged in different capacities, most especially taking the education of both girl and boy children as a priority and the only treasure us we can ever have and means a whole world to someone.
